Kidney Wales aims for even bigger team for 2026

The CDF 10K returns to the Welsh capital on Sunday 6 September – and lead charity, Kidney Wales, is looking to secure its biggest team yet.

In 2025, an incredible 197 runners joined Team Kidney Wales, raising an amazing £36,000. Now, for 2026, they’re aiming for an even bigger team to help them make an even greater impact.

Living with kidney disease isn’t just a health challenge – it affects every part of life, from finances to mental well-being. That’s why your support is so vital. With funds raised by incredible supporters like the runners at the CDF 10K, they’re able to provide grants that make a real difference:

💙 Financial Assistance Grants
💙 Wellbeing Food Voucher Scheme
💙 Carers Wellbeing Grants

One vital part of their work is helping families who are facing hardship. In the past year alone, they’ve supported 294 families with grants, food vouchers, and wellbeing support distributing over £56,970 in direct aid.

By pledging to raise just £125, you can help them reach even more patients and their families when they need it most.

All fundraisers will receive:
✨ A fundraising pack to kickstart your efforts
✨ A running top when you reach £75 of your target
✨ The chance to join Kidney Wales’ pre- and post-race events and celebrations.

Why not be part of something amazing and sign up to join Team Kidney Wakes, making your miles matter for those living with kidney disease.
