Cardiff 10K race organisers, Kidney Wales, has announced that Run & Become, Brecon Carreg, Sytner Mini Cardiff, Cardiff Council and Nation Radio are the official sponsors for this year’s Cardiff 10K road race, which takes place on Sunday 3rd September.
Brecon Carreg Mineral Water are the leading bottled mineral water supplier in Wales. Located in Trap, Carmarthenshire Brecon Carreg are back once again as official sponsors for the third consecutive year. Sourced and bottled in the Brecon Beacons National Park, water will be handed out on race day at the designated check points throughout the course to hydrate runners as they make their way around the iconic, city centre route.
Run & Become, Cardiff’s specialist running store, will also be back to support this year’s event, in their fifth year as official race sponsors. Located on St Mary’s Street, the running store stock an extensive array of running equipment, as well as offering aspiring runners expert support and advice at their in-store clinic.
On race day itself Run & Become will be on hand with their pop-up clinic tent, which will also showcase a number of products from the store. Run & Become are also offering a 10% discount to all those runners who sign up for the Cardiff 10K.
Sytner Mini Cardiff, a new and approved used Mini retailer based in Cardiff, is working with Kidney Wales as part of their partnership with Run 4 Wales and will be providing a MINI Countryman as a lead car for the race.
Nation Radio and Dragon Radio have also teamed up to support Kidney Wales and the Cardiff 10K commenting: “We are very proud and excited to be working alongside our partner Kidney Wales for the Cardiff 10K and Cardiff 2K. The 2017 event is bigger than ever with an exciting new route and is something which Cardiff will be very proud of.

As part of its commitment to supporting Kidney Wales, GLUCO, the producer of GlucoTabs, is also backing this year’s race. With a selection of fruity flavours, Gluco Tabs and Gluco Juice will be providing this year’s Cardiff 10K participants with a boost when they need it the most available at the runners village.
This year’s Cardiff 10K event sold out in record time, attracting thousands of runners from across the country who take on the fast, flat and scenic route, raising hundreds of thousands of pounds for Welsh charities.
This year’s race will take place on Sunday 3rd September, with the main 10K event commencing at 10.00am and the 2K Family Run starting at 9.15am. This year’s 2K Family Run is proudly sponsored by Cardiff Cares Foster a Child.
